Hello, I am Ignasius Parlindungan, who known as Iggy.
As Structural Engineer, I specialize in reviewing Wood frame buildings, glazing systems, custom steel structures, and building claddings. Throughout my career, I have contributed to the structural design of variety projects ranging from concrete, steel, aluminum, wood and glass to light gauge steel framing in residential and commercial structures.
My experience as a structural engineer in Washington and British Columbia has provided me with an in-depth understanding of seismic design, wind analysis, and gravity loads.
I am well-versed in structural modelling/ programming using structural software, conducting analysis, and implementing strategies to analyze structural applications. I also work with clients to provide technical expertise of a range of custom designs.
My knowledge of both Canadian and U.S. building codes is an asset to serve my clients.
Outside of work, I am a dad to two daughters, and they are both wonderful and challenging at the same time. Having kids has taught me more about myself than anything else. When the opportunity presents itself, me and my wife like to go off-camping and hiking. I like sports, so I currently play Tennis and watch my daughters on their swimming or skating lessons.
